Alexandra Grace has been working as a stylist, costume designer, and assistant costume designer in the Film Industry in Los Angeles California since 2013. She went to an arts high school in Dallas Texas where she was raised. There she studied stage management and acting but always had a keen eye (and opinion) for fashion. Her perceptive style and gift for understanding character inevitably lead her to want to study costume design in college. She earned her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 where she studied Theatrical Costume Design and Production.

While in college, Alex worked on productions around Pittsburgh, and hustled her summers in Los Angeles making connections and working under top professionals to learn her place on set. Since then she has designed award winning feature films, styled for clients such as The Food network, Amazon, Master Class, and Tru TV.

Alex has a wide variety of skills and talents that make her exceptional at her job. She has taken 3 years of college level art history and fashion history. has skills in all forms of painting from fabric to scenic, digital to canvas. She is trained in various methods of distressing and embellishing clothes and props, printing techniques (block, screen, stencil) ,illustrator, photoshop, autocad, all classes of fabric dyes, and has learned many on the job hacks from styling in television and backstage quick changes.

Alex thrives on ingenuity, problem solving, and creation. Whether it’s delving into a script helping to create a character through conversation and discussion, or styling real people so they can be the most comfortable versions of themselves for television. Alex is there ready to support her production and team the most efficient and positive way possible.
